I love morning in San Mateo.
At 6:45am it's cool. Thanks to the Bay fog a short distance away, the day's heat is balanced by a chill at night. This morning brought a few clouds which will vanish by 8:30.
At this time the light is golden, giving the bougainvillea a good shine.
I may be up, but some in my house are still snoozing.
Looks like I interrupted! NH is on vacation and is still sleeping also, but I left him alone.
Breakfie: Apple oatmeal with flax, granola, soy milk, and a sprinkle of currants.

Looks gorgeous! Sometimes it is so peaceful to be up before everyone else in your house :).
Even with the heat, that oatmeal looks goooood. Makes me a little less sad to see summer slip away.
